went to town tdy and met up wif yihe and stanley... watch twilight which i felt was ok, but srly its a girls show and overly rated... the whole thing was more on the love story between edward (vampire) and the girl, so lil action scene and more talk (reminds me of chang e and the shepard) :(

ltr went to aston at cathay to eat and just talk. i guess lately all meet up sessions seems to be catching up with lost time, unlike during sch days where gg out meant to catch a movie... thats if u have the time to go out in the first place. then the rest of the day was spent walking arnd orchard trying to find new year clothes, so tht we can just grab it when we finally book out very new year weekend :P

speakin of which, lately everytime i see the army ads, i srly think that its all bull... budden tdy when i saw the ad at this bus stop at orchard, i was suddeny tinking of the purpose of ns in the first place... in case of war. i know my dad says in army dun b a hero and go join all those commandos and guards, and go do something with an easy life and nt so front line. he also said heros only get a medal of honor if they die in war and make their family suffer in the end. yah true but tdy i realised that in a war, if a loved one had to die, i had rather die fighting and know i have done my duty to protect than b alive to have no one arnd. without the army there wld b no peace we enjoy tdy. now i guess its just simply my turn as it was for the past 42 generations of enlistees before me.

ok that sounded really too cheesy and straight frm a storybook somewhr but srly its just tym to accept it and make the best of the situation. knowing the purpose makes the 2 yrs seems nt so bad. so its 9 days to go joey's gg in on fri... xD while kam fung on 6th jan, 7th yh, shel, elvis. 8th me. 9th derek zl jason...

and tmr's the last day of 2008! 09 will sure b interesting...

i dun believe it. im left with 11 days till i enlist and all im doing since xmas was basically rotting in front of the com. fine mayb the occasional outing here and dere but srly... 

hiaz mayb is shld just take a bus down to ntu and nus as dad suggested and just look arnd. or if nt take a jog at ecp and enjoy the sea breeze. just need a breather i guess. im nv really a stay at home person. budden nw everyone also busy wan go out also no one go wif. 

hmm... since im left wif 3 more days of hearing the ez link beep twice. i tink im gonna go do something tmr, be it alone or wif someone. maybe even go shave off my hair? anw still left with 14 bucks in my card haha... enuf for few rides here and dere n a mac meal even (:

ok settled tmr go ecp for a run/cycle thing. then tues go visit the schs. new year eve see hw. currently its go out bah...

badminton!

tdy was spent playing badminton wif dorcas, the 2 yings (sze ying and ying xi lol) and also yangling haha. haven played badminton in ages lol but it was pretty fun haha. at least i get to step out of the house to do something. suppose to play tabletennis de. but evryone all brought rackets instd. and luckily play badminton lah coz i cant find my tbtennis bats at all :( 

everythng in a mess in the store rm alr. took me ages to find the tennis balls last tym, nw its this zzz.... nw i knw why the storerm is a store rm haha. so messy. and mum said she saw a rat  arnd the yard near the store 0.o

oh yah and lately i've been posed many weird guy girl qns... makes u tink lyk men are indeed frm mars and women frm venus. ie 2 diff planets lol. tsk tsk so many stereotypes

XMAS

ytd was sooooooo tiring. so many ppl came to my hse. my mum's side have 3 aunties, and 3 uncles. my dad's side another 2 uncles. so imagine 9 families in one hse... good grief more than 30 ppl in the hse. note they came for dinner yet my aunts start coming at 230 after i cleaned the hse giving me no tym to sleep at all... (din sleep at all during xmas eve- read prev post for details.)

the kids as usual were rather errr... childish (wanted to use rotten but i decided since some are barely 5 i close an eye) spilling crumbs over the carpet, asking to b carried up the stairs, running arnd, crying, bugging ppl to play with them blah blah. so i ended up carrying my nephews and nieces up and down all 3 floors at least 5 tyms... spent the rest of the evening serving ppl, cleaning up, being a gd host lol... i dare say my life wld b made much easier without those kids lol. but then at least they were cute haha :)

shows how time flies too. the last tym i saw most of them they were still babies. now they can walk and talk le haha. cny will have even more babies haha with my cousin's 4 kids coming too of which i only met 1. the rest i din see coz they were always in US.

and as expected every conversation ended up to lead to army somehow... which is 13 days away. anyway i ended up so tired last nite that i slept at 845pm all the way till this morn 10am haha.

nxt one will b new yr to look out for! jj suggest go my hse countdown lol. we shall see... 

xmas eve! and now xmas day lol

ytd/tdy was a blast haha. im officially awake for the past 26h lol give and take maybe an hr.

went to yiyang's hse for xmas eve dinner and also to crash out overnight haha. finally met all the db ppl 06/07 bros all in the same place, other than for jun an, ikthia n koon, ( i think... )

cheers to zonglin and yiyang for all the great food that they cooked too haha. nice pasta, wings and nuggets lol. spent the night eating, talkingbut me, yh and kam fung  (naturally bout army as everyone dere but me, yh and kam fung is a NSF) playing cards, psp-ing, ps-2, watching movies, and of course drinking lol. i realised db ppl luv to drink whenever they can get the chance to. played circle of life and 7-up in which stanley was as usual the person who have to drink the most, sabo-ed naturally by the rest of us =x. i tink i played a major role in it too lol, tsk who ask him whole day say bout his police clerk life being so slack... compared to my future ns life. ( which FYI starts exactly 2 weeks ltr)

haha will upload the pics when bonn and yh uploads it on facebook. but trust me i tink it looks horrid at most funny...
