gosh the entire system is screwed... first we go through all that crap for 12 yrs to get a decent A level cert. then after all that u think u can get a break for couple months before going into ns... but NO u gt to go serve ur bloody ns in JAN... 8th jan lah! its like freaking early, like practically almost everyone else i know go in during april cept for the commando ppl and a few other suai ppl like myself elvis yh and shel zzz...  fancy collecting ur A's result slip hairless and in ur army gear...

after this A level countdown i will start a new countdown to the day i step into tekong -.-"

damn the feeling sucks even more when u know that more than 90% of the ppl in the class will never understand... and to think that they have an entire 8mths to rot away before starting uni and end by the time u get out of the jungle...

last day in old house

ooo... last day at this home of 17 yrs. gonna miss this place i guess. budden one must always look ahead rite? haha. tmr the movers will be in at 10am and i'll go over to the other side liao :)

coincidences and surprises

moving house next week. 25th

the tenant renting the current house is an nyjc alumni.

and the neighbourhood i'll be shifting to will be e same as jia jia lol

dad's job application was sucessful and he gets to start work on the 28th which is the week just after the entire moving takes place. just nice. spent time to settle the house during the period he resigned and now out come a job when its all done.

furthermore mom and dad are gonna get baptized on the same weekend nxt week lol

i think its really God's plan :)

one sad thing though is that one of my distant uncle whom i only saw a couple of times, passed away... fell in the bath and hit his head. then ended up in hospital and gone 2 days later. all at the age of 50+. life sure seems cruel in that sense that it gives and takes when it pleases...

okay really random off topic...

another thing as wx mentioned is that love is blind. in this case really blind lol

shant say too much here. seems quite mean to blantantly say it here. if u still dunno, ask me. can really help destress. this one comes under the category "shocking" not "surprise".

busy week next week with all the consultations. mon nathan. wed gp, geog old man and william. thurs gtay... 

fri move house yay!

GRAD!

alas graduation came and go, the 3 years i spent in NY and now im finally out. hmm strange feeling... so many things to say yet some are better left unsaid lol this 3 yrs had been another roller coaster ride for me. with many ups and as many downs. 

but i wld say that this journey through ny really changed my entire outlook of school. esp from last yr on... i mean comon retaining in this sch is surely gonna do something to u in one way or another. i rmb the time when i said i was gonna quit krt and study all the way... but who knew that after 3 months im dragged "literally" into nydb. =.= 

it was with the db guys and all that trng that it made me cherish time much much more than before. in a way i wld say db really became my life, with a bulk of the tym spent either trng with them or mugging in sch with them. 

now it comes to my current class of 0728. true that i really din spend much tym wif them but i really appreciate all the little things they do. the cards they made, the small little words of encouragement, or simply the tutorials and lectures tgt. srly speaking what are the odds that 2 cat high guys are placed in a class with 21 girls lol.

i guess in a way its all fate that brought everyone tgt and now that we are officially alumni students. i guess the main thing is that we all keep in touch wif one another even after this stupid exam no matter what. if not then i wld say this journey wld be wasted...

A's are 22 days away and after that we'll be home free! let us come back in march nxt yr happy and pref all go on stage to collect ur results. dun giv up yah the prelims is nothing. what matters is the effort u put in now till A's :) 

till the exams are over in nov 18, i prolly wun have much to update. so take care ppl and jiayou. thanks again for all that bitter sweet memories :)

im finally starting to realise old man's becoming super "cute" these days. sometimes his jokes are like super unexpected and lame that it just cant help but brighten up ur day lol.

example 1:

tuesday's consultation with him, tgt wif wx, qh and pamela. after asking all the qn we had, wx fianlly asked, " what u think will come out for A's"

the reply, " now lemme sit around and find inspiration from the atmosphere and when i find it, then i'll inform u all." * all of us almost fell off the chair*

geog exam tips: this is not a Survivor competition where the fastest gets $50,000 and after u finish u can relax and sit there with a silly grin...

LMAO. oh yeah fri is the grad ceremony meaning the last official sch day for us in NY! not that it matters much considering that nxt week is a whole bunch of mock exams...

another thing is that its cfm that im gonna move house on the 25th of this month... the best part of that is i dun have to lift a finger... my parents said my sis and i shld concentrate on O's and A's respectively and leave everything else to them. haha my dad agreed to fetch me to sch during that period to reduce the stress too lol.

the thought of burning away all the darn notes in a month time simply delights me these days...

was packing up all my notes and i realised that if i stacked all my notes in a pile, its easily a meter tall which i think 60% comes from maths and geog.

to think tmr errr.... i mean later in couple hrs time will be gp and econs lect haiz... and i'm still here rushing through my geog for tues consultation

leave yall to something my bro found online: murphy's law on test and exams ( dun take it too srly, its just a bunch of half truths to me though some seems to fit perfectly in describing myself haha)

• No matter how much you study for a test you will be asked a question that you don't know.
  
• When you study for easy tests is when you fail miserably, but when you don't study for the hard ones, it's when you pass with 100%.
• When there's a teacher that everyone says you want, you end up with the ones you don't want. And when you do get the ones that you want, it's when they end up changing their ways, and decide to make the class really hard
• If you don't study, every question will appear to be something you remember reading on your textbooks from a month ago, hence will appear (deceptively of course) easy, although you will not recall the exact phrasing of an answer.
  
• When you think that a person you meet looks stupid, chances of them being really smart are very high
  
• Eighty percent of the final exam will be based on the one lecture you missed about the one book you didn't read.
  
• The more studying you did for the exam, the less sure you are as to which answer they want
  

flabby

i think mugging grows flabs lol. what used to be abs now become 六国统一 or 八国联军. choc sweets snacks or anything that keeps my mind alive in the aft other than sleeping, anything sinful or sugary :)

hence my weight is going rollercoaster on me. at first it was going up when we first stop trng, then it went down and now its going to the poles (more of e north pole) again... 1st muscle, then muscle + fats, then muscle drops fats increase, now its just fats lol...

must do something bout this soon... and by saying that i mean get it done before i get thrown this deserted island called tekong off the coast of singapore supposedly to learn to protect the country blah blah... which i find is rather ridiculous having to waste 2 yrs brain rotting and listening to ppl shout crap at you. not to mention if those ppl up there srly want to raise the pop to 6million by 2030 where bulk of the increase comes from foreigners, i think by getting ONLY singaporean males to serve ns is just stupid...

ah and the guys team wants to go for the river regatta on the 22 nov. that's the weekend aft A's lol. i think that wld not even be considered a race. it'll be more like a fun paddle amongst the other competitive teams ROFL.

ms hazel i think can be awarded 5/5 for dedication to her work and students.

was in sch nitestudying wif yy and kuan wu till 930. and... she was still there lah! she was like conducting a class for her students till 9pm! mind you its in pm not am lol. i mean no other teacher wld stay up so late for their students and yet she still there lol. fine she's not my teacher but yah one must be blind not to notice. SHE'S GOOD. unlike a certain someone who made econs seem like a self study subject lol. 

desperate times call for desperate measures. part of me is considering consulting him...

oh yah i got back geog p2 today and the predicted grade was highly accurate. i scraped a C overall by getting 47 for p2 :( 

expected considering i only got like 6m out of 26m for the 2 global drq. but it was not what i hoped. budden the most amazing thing was that i passed old man's pop essay and failed william's urban. zzz... utter opposite from what i expected. 14.5 and 12 respectively. wth... pulled my entire B to a C. crap.

the new house

went over to the new house at springside yesterday. 

a simple word to describe my new room is .... " NICE!!! "

big spacious, elegant and classy haha. now all that's left is the bed and the drawers. but otherwise its considered done with curtains, blinds, cupboard and writing table all done wonderfully i wld say :)

kudos to mom and dad who painstakingly took much effort in making the entire house totally gorgeous lol. which btw is dad's dream house haha. 

hmmm dad says we shld be able to cfm when we can shift over there by sunday when they can cfm when the future tenants will rent the current house. but the aim would be to move in by mid oct this month! how exciting lol. also quite sad to leave this home of 16yrs where 90% of my life was spent within this bishan amk tpy district. now it'll be like in some very ulu place opposite nee soon camp and near khatib camp with only 3 buses off the main road lol. (which i srly hope that nxt yr i get to one of these camps HAHA). orchard will seem to be the most convenient meeting spot then... with one straight bus down. even gg to sch will now really suck. so ma fan...

BUT the bright side is i finally get my own room, without having to have my brother breathing down my neck peeping at what im doing all the time lol and also well as long as we are all happy, im happy too :) and like i said earlier the room is NICE! haha 

will post some pics when its fully furnished and i finally shift there wif all the things packed neatly away haha. quite cool :)

maths and phy are just screwed subs... one moment u think u got the hang of it... nxt moment one bitch qn comes in and oh hell u start doubting what u ever thought u know...

but then again geog and econs are no better. it comes to u in all directions. the newspapers and magazines just keep on churning out these related things like the US financial crisis and the MAS policies, electric bills rising blah, or global warming, floods and hurricanes... damn wherever u go, the A's just dun let u off...

even going online is a bother when u get ppl asking u work related things in ur so called break times, or if u see the bloody countdown timer on the sch web saying 27 days 18h left as of now... im really hating this shit now. sms these days are also going along the same track like " how to do this qn?" or " tmr wan go out study?"... hell. 6 more weeks and this is over but i think its gonna be damn long coz my bro finishes his end of yr exams this fri... life really feels screwed
