ltr went to aston at cathay to eat and just talk. i guess lately all meet up sessions seems to be catching up with lost time, unlike during sch days where gg out meant to catch a movie... thats if u have the time to go out in the first place. then the rest of the day was spent walking arnd orchard trying to find new year clothes, so tht we can just grab it when we finally book out very new year weekend :P
speakin of which, lately everytime i see the army ads, i srly think that its all bull... budden tdy when i saw the ad at this bus stop at orchard, i was suddeny tinking of the purpose of ns in the first place... in case of war. i know my dad says in army dun b a hero and go join all those commandos and guards, and go do something with an easy life and nt so front line. he also said heros only get a medal of honor if they die in war and make their family suffer in the end. yah true but tdy i realised that in a war, if a loved one had to die, i had rather die fighting and know i have done my duty to protect than b alive to have no one arnd. without the army there wld b no peace we enjoy tdy. now i guess its just simply my turn as it was for the past 42 generations of enlistees before me.
ok that sounded really too cheesy and straight frm a storybook somewhr but srly its just tym to accept it and make the best of the situation. knowing the purpose makes the 2 yrs seems nt so bad. so its 9 days to go joey's gg in on fri... xD while kam fung on 6th jan, 7th yh, shel, elvis. 8th me. 9th derek zl jason...
and tmr's the last day of 2008! 09 will sure b interesting...
